Our Valued Sponsors
In 2021 Sunshine Coast Council has provided a grant to reconstruct the post and rail fence around the car park. The old fence parts will be retained and re-used where possible in other parts of the Sanctuary. Foote Sanctuary have also received a grant to purchase an additional battery powered line trimmer and equipment to replace a two stroke leaf blower with a battery powered machine. This will reduce the noise and increase the efficiency of our maintenance efforts.
The Community Benefit Fund Grant made possible the erection of many tree identification plaques, along our Botanic walkway, as well as some directional signage at track junctions.
In 2009 the Community Benefit Fund Grant made possible the purchase of a Honda "Crawler Hauler", which enables us to transport materials to the most remote areas of the Sanctuary.
In 2019 a community Benefit fund grant enabled the purchase of a Landmark sheltered display board, where the story of Eric Joseph Foote and the history of the Sanctuary have been displayed
With funds received from the Buderim Foundation we have erected a drinking fountain for use by Buderim residents and visitors to our beautiful Foote Sanctuary.
A recent grant enabled us to purchase a battery powered line trimmer to replace a noisy two stroke machine.
If you would like to become a Member of the Foote Sanctuary, an annual fee of $15 is required, this enables us to plant and upkeep our community bushland
